Year 10’s Arthur
On the Wednesday 19 March, I was given the opportunity to watch Emma Rice’s adaptation of Wuthering Heights. It was a thrilling production right from the start, where it was clear this was no ordinary story.
The production was action packed, full of new twists unravelling at every turn; it was clear from the beginning that this wasn’t just a tale of romance but one of revenge, which kept me constantly fascinated.
I particularly enjoyed the role of Heathcliff as he seemed to perfectly capture what the story was about, one moment he was full of love, the next desperate for revenge, corrupted by money and power.
I thoroughly enjoyed this production and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys the themes of romance, redemption, and revenge.
