The U14A and B teams can be very proud of their excellent play at the weekend away against Ipswich School in very cold, wet and windy conditions. The U14A squad were missing five of the squad due to various reasons. Despite this the eleven players played some really good skilful hockey. With two goals scored against us in the first half the girls worked hard and Amy Graham scored a very good goal back. Despite most of the ball and lots of pressure on their goal keeper we were to concede two more one in the last 30 seconds! Katherine Bye played well as centre forward making good use of space and linking up well with her team. Millie Buchanan worked tirelessly down the left side of the pitch with Emma Hendry delivering some good passes. Joanne Garnett, always strong as left defence, also played some excellent balls across the pitch. We have begun to expect Captain Maud Peel to dominate in our defence and she did not disappoint. No player of the match as they all played out of their skins well done to the above and Emily Cook, Maddy Walmsley Stevenson, Millie Buckingham, Sarah Barker, Kiya Smith.
