Here at Woodbridge School, we are fortunate to have had the opportunity to perform a variety of theatrical productions which we have shared below.
Via our trailers you will see that having access to Seckford Theatre – plus our historical School grounds – allows us to create a range of alternative worlds, and students benefit from our state of the art facilities, learning everything from sound and set design, through to practical performance techniques.

Frankenstein
Our students performed magnificently; with their dark and intriguing adaptation of Frankenstein and his Creature!
The Two Gentlemen of Verona
Chapel lawn was filled with the sound of laughter and applause for Year 9’s performance of one of Shakespeare’s earliest plays.
Little Shop of Horrors
On the ten year anniversary of when it was performed, audiences were blown away by this musical extravaganza!
Jack Absolute Flies Again
Jack Absolute Flies Again was performed by our Year 12 and 13 students to sell out audiences in our Seckford Theatre.
As You Like It
Our audience were treated to a delightful performance of As You Like It by our Year 9s, set amongst the trees on the Chapel lawn.
A Monster Calls
This production by our Year 10 and 11 Drama students was performed to sell-out audiences and standing ovations!
Romeo and Juliet
Our sixth formers performed in front of sold out audiences; captivated by their portrayal of Shakespeare’s tragic love story.
Twelfth Night
This entertaining and ambitious portrayal by our Year 9s took place on two perfect summer evenings on the Chapel lawn.
Grease
Our whole School musical electrified audiences – with over 140 students on stage, supported by a live band and technical team.
A Christmas Carol
Dickens’ classic tale of Christmas past, present, and future, performed by Sixth Form students, enthralled audiences.
Much Ado About Nothing
Our Year 9 Drama students wowed audiences with their depiction of Shakespeare’s classic comedy, performed on Chapel Lawn.
Brief Encounter
Our sixth formers performed a stage adaptation of Noel Coward’s classic, in front of captivated audiences at Seckford Theatre.
Délicieux!
Performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, our Sixth Formers blew audiences away with their portrayal of Mr Williams’ adaptation.
A Midsummer Night’s Dream
Shakespeare’s comic play was performed by Year 9 Drama students, with Chapel lawn as the perfect backdrop.
The Red Shoes
An outstanding theatrical achievement; our Year 10 and 11 students brought Hans Christian Anderson’s chilling classic to life.
One Man, Two Guvnors
Our talented sixth formers truly captured the essence of Richard Bean’s comedic play, earning a rapturous applause as the curtain fell.
The Egg-Born Princess
This tale of surprise and adventure was told with captivating passion by sixth form students at both Seckford Theatre, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
The Merry Wives of Windsor
27 students from Year 9 enthusiastically performed Shakespeare’s 15th century comedy in the School’s perfect outdoor setting.
The Lottery
Henry Fielding’s play was perfectly portrayed by our Year 10 and 11 students, in a production perfectly suited to Seckford Theatre.
Love’s Labour’s Lost
Year 9 drama students performed Shakespeare’s early comedy to delighted audiences, on two perfect Summer evenings on Chapel lawn.
Metamorphosis
This breath-taking portrayal of Kafka’s physically demanding play by sixth formers at Seckford Theatre left audiences mesmerised.
Father Time
Performing dream-like physical theatre, our talented sixth formers performed this innovative adaptation at both Seckford Theatre and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Two Gentleman of Verona
Our Year 9s transported audiences to Italy for this captivating portrayal of Shakespeare’s comedy on the School’s very own, Chapel lawn.
Blue Stockings
Year 10 and 11 drama students performed Jessica Swale’s comical, yet eye-opening, story to moved audiences at Seckford Theatre.
All’s Well That End’s Well
Shakespeare’s complex play was performed by our Year 12 and 13 students, in front of mesmerised audiences at Seckford Theatre.
Antigone
Our sixth formers performed a powerfully told adaptation of this Athenian tragedy. A performance our audience members will remember.
Rosemary
Edinburgh Fringe audiences were enthralled by our students’ portrayal of Rosemary, as were audiences at our very own Seckford Theatre.
Caucasian Chalk Circle
Year 10 and 11 students took to the stage for their poignant performance of one of Bertolt Brecht’s most celebrated works.
Tartuffe
Moliere’s famous comedy was re-told, in poet Roger McGough’s sparkling and witty version, by our sixth form drama students.
