Tennis County Finals
Last week our U13A boys and girls tennis teams had the opportunity to take part in the County Finals Day, after a successful league season. Our U13 girls were represented by Year 8’s Frankie and Year 7’s Freya, Grace and Annabelle; our U13 boys were represented by Year 8’s Toby, James, Harry and Elijah.
Both teams enjoyed the challenge, facing tough opposition which provided plenty of opportunities for them to learn lots about their own play, as well as best tactics to use against varying opponents. Congratulations on coming away with a well-deserved third place, and well done to everyone for representing the School so well.
Special shout-out to our boys team, who’ve had the most successful season in many years, winning five out of six matches this term, they bounced back well after a semi-final defeat to win their bronze play-off tie without dropping a set between them!
