Party in the Barn
Parents Claire Harrington and Joanna Wells would like to extend an invitation to our community to join them at their one-off fundraiser “Party in the Barn” on Sunday 24 May at Joanna’s Hemingstone Hall Barn.
‘We have been very fortunate to have food, drinks and entertainment donated by our friends and local contacts, so all money raised through ticket sales and on the night can go straight to our fund, thereby supporting the Hospice. We will have live entertainment from local band Force8, disco, hog roast supper, Aspalls cyder on arrival and a donation bar all evening.’
Claire and Joanna are training to cycle from London to Paris in September in aid of St Elizabeth Hospice. That’s 300 miles in just four days! They are training in a sub-team of three “Brunettes on Bikes” which is part of the larger Hospice Team 100 group of 100 cyclists. As the “Brunettes on Bikes” their fundraising target is a whopping £6000.
