Boarders’ Round-Up – Michaelmas 2022

15 Dec 22

It’s been a busy term for boarders, which started with taster weekends in School House for prospective students; they were of course greeted and welcomed by all boarders, shown the sights around the School grounds and given the boarding experience at its very best with dinner, movies and a range of other activities that they could expect should they decided to board regularly at Woodbridge.

With School, sports and other activities students undertake throughout the term, they’ve been kept busy as per usual, but highlights included of course the world cup which was greeted with anticipation and excitement by everyone, with a little sorrow for some as the tournament progressed and teams left.

But Christmas was soon upon us all, and boarders took a trip to London, visiting Covent Garden to see the beautiful and enormous Christmas tree and the wonderful decorations all around the area.  It’s a great time of year to see the capital at its very best, looking wonderfully festive and full of people scurrying around enjoying mulled wine as they search the market stalls for treats and presents.

With Christmas jumper day and Christmas dinner in the last weeks of term boarders were feeling festive and full and ready to return home or to guardians by the end of School,  to celebrate as well as rest, recuperate and recover ahead of what will undoubtedly be another busy term in January.
