The Intermediate Maths Challenge, which encourages mathematical reasoning, precision of thought and fluency in using basic mathematical techniques to solve problems, was held early February 2022 with 117 students from Years 9 to 11 taking part. This week the results have been announced and can be seen below; we’re delighted to report that 55% of those who sat the paper achieved a certificate – huge congratulations!

Kai, Isla and Harry have gone through to the follow on round Pink Kangaroo, and Ananya has gone through to the Hamilton Olympiad. Oliver, Year 11, was very close to making it to the Pink Kangaroo round so we made the decision to also put him through.
