A Level Results 2014 – Another Strong Year for Woodbridge
Woodbridge bucked the national trend with an increase in the proportion of A*s. Over half the candidates gained an A* or A, and just under half gained three A grades or equivalent.
Despite grade suppression nationally, the average entry points / subject was maintained, and a very high proportion of students achieved their first choice university place, including five Oxford and Cambridge candidates.
The rich variety of Woodbridge life is reflected in chosen courses in Japanese, anthropology, medicine, agriculture, music, with as ever a high proportion, inspired by the wonderful art department, moving to art college.
Congratulations to all students and staff. A level success is the result of an effective blend of exceptional teaching and learning , both of which are found in bucket loads.
Number of A Level pupils: 87
Percentage of A* to C grades: 87.2%
