It was the classic triangular competition: A beat B, B beat C, and C beat A – or in this case Captain Christopher Long led his team of Toby McNally, Nathan Goddard and Maud Peel to convincing victory over Langley, having earlier frustratingly lost to Colchester RGS, only for Colchester then to be defeated by Langley, and yet still sneak the overall victory on points difference. All in all, it was a very complicated, exciting, and nail-biting way for our team to bow out at this, the regional semi-final stage of the Junior National Schools’ Challenge. Congratulations nonetheless to the team on its victories.
