Hockey: Woodbridge Girls Under 14 A Team v Felsted
15 Oct 14
Score: Lost 1-4
The U14A girl’s hockey team came up against stiff opposition away to Felsted. Two players had already helped the U15B team to a 5-0 win as numbers were short. Despite excellent play from Zara Lye in defence we struggled to keep the Felsted team out of our defending half. Goal Keeper Sophie Little had to leave the pitch with a bad back just before half time and special mention must go to Eleanor Berridge who stepped into the kit for her maiden experience of goal keeping. Issy Cory came over as quick as she could from the other match to help out, with the second half better and a good goal scored from Maddie Felton on the right post. Tighter marking in our defending third and more accurate passing areas to work on.
