The U15B girls’ hockey team played a very enjoyable match against Framlingham on Saturday. It was a weakened Woodbridge team because of injury and we had two U13 girls helping us out. The first half the Woodbridge girls worked hard and the game went from end to end. Unfortunately, just before half time Framlingham scored despite our defence doing their best to clear the ball.
Maude Peele and Joanne Garnett played well with the U15B team playing a passing game. Positionally, the Woodbridge girls were strong but Framlingham played some beautiful hockey and scored another two girls in the second half. The final score was 0-3 to Framlingham.
I would like to congratulate the girls on an excellent season and the enthusiasm and fun they have brought to the U15B team. Well done girls.
