Year 12’s Oli, Jasmine, Zaid and Henry joined Miss Norman this week for tea and cake and to receive their Head’s Commendation.
For Oli and Jasmine the commendation recognised their services to community music having sung carols at Woodbridge Lodge during the festive season, as well as giving up their own free time with very little notice last Friday evening to perform at the Vigil For Ukraine – all done with kindness and willingness.
For Zaid the commendation recognised his superb achievement in the Immerse Education Medicine Essay competition, where he won the runner-up prize beating hundreds of competitors with his essay, You Are What You Eat – To What Extent Is This True. His entry was noted by judges as one of the highest calibre entries of this year.
Henry celebrated his recent National Cross Country Championships win with Miss Norman and his fellow students, his commendation recognising his continued commitment and success.
