Have Your Say Competition – Preliminary Round 2025

Last week we hosted the Suffolk Preliminary Round of the Have Your Say Languages Competition, welcoming around 150 students and 25 members of staff and visitors from local schools.

This popular competition is organised by the Association for Language Learning (ALL) Essex and East Anglian Branch. Students work in pairs on a chosen dialogue in Spanish, French or German, which they perform in front of the judges and other competitors.

On the day, Year 7’s Alex and Harriet, Year 9’s Millie and Marina, and Year’s 10 Cleo and Aldara were excellent ambassadors for the School, competing in their respective categories.

Special congratulations to the following students who have gained a place in the final, which takes place on 14 May 2025 in Colchester:
