Arrival
Please do not arrive before 10:30. Registration and course walking starts at 11:15. We advise all competitors to arrive changed as changing facilities will be limited.
Collecting Numbers and Registering
Team managers – please register in the School Hall and declare any changes to your teams. The School Hall is near to the Sports Dome. You will be able to collect your numbers from here.
Parking
Parking will be limited on site and so any off-site parking or lift sharing will be appreciated. The School minbuses and any coaches will be directed to park at the School Main Gate Turning Circle. There is additional parking outside of the school along Burkitt Road and in the Buttrums Mill Car Park. We will be asking our competitors and families to use The Abbey and walk up to the school. There are numerous side roads to the school which can also be used.
Footwear
The course is mostly over grass and earth tracks. There is one place which is about 7m wide where the road is crossed on tarmac. However, this area is small and runners are advised to wear spikes.
Distances
The course is made up of one main loop plus two additional loops (fields). The individual races have been worked out using these and hopefully these are easy to understand from the map. Maps can be downloaded from the school website.

Please bring your own supply. There is a tap outside the changing rooms which can allow for water to be replenished.
Toilets
We have hired in 10 toilets for use on the day which will be situated near the Sports Dome.

First Aid
St. John’s Ambulance will be in attendance
T-Shirts
We have a limited number of East Anglian Cross Country T-Shirts which will be on sale on the day. A good souvenir of the day.
Programme and Sponsors
The programme will be available on the day in print form, or you can view it online here. We would like to thank our sponsors who have contributed to making the event possible.
Respecting School Ground and Lawns
Please could you help us by preventing athletes from warming up on The Chapel Lawn and around the Cricket Squares. There will be ample space to warm up which should be on the school fields.
Inclement Weather On The Day
If the weather leading up to the day has proved to be difficult and the course at risk, we will make a decision to either modify the course or in the worst case scenario have to cancel the event. If there are high winds we will need to adapt the woodland part of the run.
