Last weekend, 34 Year 10 students completed a two-day walking expedition for their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh assessment, along the Suffolk coast.
Carrying full kit and camping out overnight, they were split into five groups, camping in three different locations. They were tasked with completing six hours of planned activities each day, which including walking plus their breaks.
The groups all experienced some very challenging weather at times, with huge rain showers and unpredictable wind and even sunshine at times.
Despite the usual navigation errors all of the groups were successful in achieving and completing their expedition; now looking forward to going for their Silver expedition in the Peak District in October.
Well done to everyone who took part, enjoying the weekend together in spite of the unpredictable weather!
