Please join us at Woodbridge School Prep for a fun-filled session of music and song every term time Friday morning, 9:30 – 10:15, and monthly extended Dawn Chorus & Play sessions once a month during term-time from 9:30 – 10:45.
Dawn Chorus
Music plays a hugely important role in child development – so join us for a fun-filled session of music every term-time Friday, where we will learn new songs together and get the chance to catch up with other parents and children! Dawn Chorus is free and open to all children of pre-school age and is run by our Head of Music, Mrs Petts.
Dawn Chorus & Play
From January 2025 there will be monthly extended play sessions taking place alongside Dawn Chorus, with themed songs and activities for parents and children to enjoy. Dawn Chorus & Play is free to attend and open to all children of pre-school age, and is run by our Head of Music, Mrs Petts, and our Reception Teacher, Mrs Hill.
When will it take place?
Lent Term 2025
Dawn Chorus will take place every term-time Friday morning from 9:30am – 10:15 at Woodbridge School Prep.
From January 2025 there will also be monthly extended Dawn Chorus & Play sessions with themed songs and activities from 9:30 – 10:45.
- 10 January 2025 – Winter Theme
- 7 February 2025 – Love Theme
- 7 March 2025 – Adventures on Wheels Theme

Where will it take place?
Both Dawn Chorus and Dawn Chorus & Play take place at Woodbridge School Prep.
If you require parking, please use our Cumberland Street entrance and car park: Cumberland Street, Woodbridge, Suffolk, IP12 4AD.
Upon arrival, you will be required to sign in with Mrs Petts.

You can take part and sign-up to both Dawn Chorus and Dawn Chorus & Play by filling out the form below with contact details and confirmation of the dates you wish your child to attend.
