Teacher of Design
Full or part-time hours available
Fixed term until 4 July 2025
Salary: £31,343 to £46,114 per annum
Immediate start

We are seeking an enthusiastic, talented and motivated Teacher of Design to join us on a full or part-time, fixed term until 4 July 2025. We are looking for an individual who will be able to contribute to the academic life of the department to ensure that our pupils reach their full potential, ideally with experience of teaching pupils at KS3 and or KS4.

We are open to applicants for both full or part time hours and would ask you state on your application if you are applying for full or part time and if part time the hours you are available.

The successful applicant will ideally have a background in 3D design/resistant materials and graphic communication however we are willing to consider applications from candidates who have other relevant skillsets and experiences within the field of Art, Design and DT teaching. We have a strong and dedicated staff body, excellent facilities and you would be joining a warm and friendly working environment. You will be expected to contribute fully to the pastoral and co-curricular life at the School, which will include after school design clinics and three to four Saturday support sessions for exam students.

Exam Invigilator
£13.13 per hour including holiday pay

We are seeking to appoint Examination Invigilators to support the Examination Officer in the operational aspects of internal and external examinations, in accordance with regulations and procedures laid down by the Joint Council for General Qualifications (JCGQ) at various times throughout the academic year.

No specific formal qualifications are required for these posts, but successful candidates will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent. You will also have a disciplined and methodical approach to work, with excellent attention to detail.

The nature of examinations means that you will be required to remain alert and attentive for the duration of the session. You will require knowledge of requirements for the conduct of examinations, for which full training will be provided.

Cleaners (Part-time)
Salary: £11.75 per hour
2 roles, various evening shifts available

We are seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking Cleaners to join our well established and highly respected cleaning team. We have evening shifts available from Monday to Friday:

  • 4 hours per day (16:00-20:00), 20 hours per week, 40 weeks per year
  • 5 hours per day (16:00-21:00), 25 hours per week, 40 weeks per year

Some additional holiday and weekend cleaning hours may be available.

The successful candidate will be able to follow instructions to safely and effectively use chemicals and machinery to undertake the tasks required. Previous cleaning experience would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided.

Sports Coach

At different times throughout the School year, we require additional coaches to work with us; this may vary on a termly basis and can range from one to three afternoons per week.

We are looking for inspirational coaches across a variety of sports to support our excellent games provision and our students at Woodbridge School.

We are seeking talented, flexible individuals who are committed to providing the best opportunities for students across a range of abilities. To engage with students and staff, contributing towards creating a vibrant, fulfilling environment that provides appropriate levels of challenge.

The appropriate candidate will have extensive experience in coaching/playing, as well as of working in schools or similar environments. The sports on offer at Woodbridge School include: Athletics, Basketball, Cricket, Dance, Football, Hockey, Netball, Rugby.

Duties are likely to include coaching within games lessons, co-curricular practices and matches, and this would primarily be afternoons from 1.00pm to 5:30pm, Tuesday to Friday, term time only. Please check here for our term dates.
